What is the the Ladies Auxiliary?
The ladies CBCC of are very active in the ministry of the church and in the community. The ladies meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month. They bring much needed support to the church family as well as the community. Their biggest project each year begins with the Annual Cedar Bluff Fall Festival. The entire church family supports the ladies in this fund raiser. CBCC sets up a booth during the festival and sells breakfast, lunch and a large variety of desserts. The proceeds from this event goes to sponsor Christmas Tree angels at Cedar Bluff Elementary School. Last year, the Ladies Auxiliary were able to sponsor 30 angels from Cedar Bluff Elementary. What a rewarding way to put a smile on the faces and hearts of small children.
Here are some of the activities that are organized and sponsored by the ladies auxiliary
- Sunshine Boxes - These are boxes given to families that have loved ones who are sick or in the hospital that may need a little smile to make their day.
- Mother's Day Banquet
- Cedar Bluff Fall Festival (Every Third Saturday in September)
- Backpacks for Kids (we supply 100 cans of vienna sausages per month)
- Father's Day Recognition
- Pastor Appreciation Dinner and service
- Host an Annual Christmas Bazaar
- Provide dinner for our Church Members and their family who have lost a loved one.
- Provide the meat for the annual Thanksgiving dinner
