Who are the Kings Men?

This group is comprised of the men of the church and they meet the first Wednesday of each month. The purpose of the group is to seek a closer walk with God but gaining better understanding of man's role according to the word of God.

The Kingsmen are actively involved in many community projects. One of their larger ministries occurs during the Thanksgiving holiday. Complete Thanksgiving dinners are purchased and delivered in person to area families in need, along with an invitation to visit Cedar Bluff Community Church.

Over 70 families were blessed by this ministry in 2014, with continued growth expected in 2015. This ministry is one of several in which the Kingsmen are involved. It's time that the men of God step up for God in the community, and in the homes

Message from the Kings Men 1 John 4:20 says If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? This very scripture reminds us that God is about love. He teaches us that we sould love our fellow man. One of the ways we can be assured we are in the light - that we know Christ - is we do not hate our brothers. If we do not love our fellow believers, we remain in the darkness of sin. In Jesus we see the depth of love that we must extend to others. This depth is certainly revealed in the old covenant but is more clearly revealed in the new. Jesus defines love as forgiving others an infinite amount of times (Matt. 18:22) and in going the extra mile (5:41-42). Jesus Himself is the fullest expression of love since God is love (1 John 4:8), and Jesus is God (John 1:1). Jesus is the greatest example of love in that He laid down His life for the sake of His brothers.
